On February 29, Phase I of the Lagos Light Rail Red Line, constructed by CCECC, was officially completed. Commercial operations began on October 15. The line has significantly alleviated traffic congestion in Lagos and improved urban road efficiency. Phase I of the Red Line spans 26.5 kilometers and includes 8 stations along the route. It connects multiple existing bus terminals and the Lagos-Ibadan railway station while also providing access to Lagos Airport. “The operation of the Red Line will make my life much more convenient,” shared a local resident.
